In the 20th century, a new art style was born that became the new trend in the art and design world. This style became known as “Art Nouveau,” and brought a new take on archtecture and design. Characterized by inspiration from nature, use of specific materials and and organic forms, Art Nouveau became “the new kind on the block.” What was first used in the art and design world, was then picked up in Architecture and was used worldwide by famous architects such as, gaudi, herta and guimard. All of these architects had a contribution to this style. Iconic designs such as the Sagrada Familia did not go unnoticed for long and still create an incredible effect with tourists. Gaudi put his stamp on all of Barcelona and Barca became one of the cities drowning in the artistic influence of Art Nouveau
To encapsulate the spirit of Art Nouveau, I assembled a moodboard brimming with visuals that reflect the era's graceful and organic aesthetic. This collection featured elements like sinuous curves, nature-inspired shapes, and detailed floral patterns.
Finally, I selected a specific design and, using the prototype as a reference, I implemented it with CSS. This process involved detailed coding to ensure the website embodied the graceful and natural beauty of Art Nouveau aesthetics while maintaining responsiveness and compatibility across different browsers.
